Washington Township Water Authority
About the Authority
Dedicated to delivering safe, clean water to Washington Township since 1964.
About Us
Washington Township Water was founded in 1964 by local residents to fill the need for an adequate supply for water. Originally serving less than 200 members, we now provide service to nearly 1600 households and businesses. Our Water Company is a member owned not-for-profit authority. We are regulated by the Indiana Regulatory Commission and all rates and charges are provided by the Commission. The service area was originally just in Northern Monroe County, but we now also serve Southern Morgan County. In 2014, our Corporation converted into an Authority, and we are now Washington Township Water Authority.
